Bitten by the Travel Bug - Expenses

When Noel was younger, I told myself that I should take him travelling at least once a year.  And so I did... we started traveling on our own, just the 2 of us, since he was 4.  However, "life" got too expensive, and with the ever increasing sensitivity of the older folks, travelling "just the two of us" took a back seat.

Us, on our first travel "alone".  Thank God for friends who were there along the way.

I have promised him a trip to KL for 2016, so we started our RM5.00 piggy bank, where all RM5 notes received will be dropped into the "piggy" to be opened at the end of the year.  I can't tell you how much we collected in the end, because the piggy always had leakage problem! Hehe...

I got a new job, Noel started school holidays earlier etc, etc... and in the end, we managed to get good cheap tickets (via MAS mind you!) and we were set to go.

I am documenting the expenses on this part one... just for my own reference and to keep reminding myself that it is indeed worth it.  I am sure I missed out more than one thing and most of the "food" expenses are estimation... can't really remember how much... To other parts will detail our travel... hope I will be able to get to it soon.

You will see that we spent A LOT on food (especially Auntie Anne's pretzels!)... hehehehe... being food lovers, definitely won't miss out on all the yummy local food!  Also, as you can see, Noel and I are so blessed, so many meals are on our generous friends!  Forever grateful.
